Mileage Rate Changes
01.01.2023 - IRS STANDARD MILEAGE RATE for Business Travel will change on 1/1/2023
The IRS has announced an increase in the standard mileage rate for business travel that will increase by 3 cents to 65.5 cents per mile effective January 1, 2023 (IRS Notice IR-2022-234, released 12/29/2022).
The USNH mileage reimbursement rate for business travel for those using a personal vehicle in the U.S. will also increase to 65.5 cents per mile driven.
The USNH Personal Reimbursement Form has been updated to reflect the 65.5 cent mileage rate effective 1/1/2023. The form can be found at
Reimbursement of mileage prior to this date will be paid at the rate in effect on the date of travel. These rates can be found on the USNH Financial Services Mileage Rates Web Site

Direct deposit is the USNH preferred payment method. It is a safe and efficient way to receive your wage payments.Enroll by logging into wise.usnh.edu, click on the Employee Services link, select Pay Information and then Direct Deposit Allocation.
Click Update Direct Deposit Allocation at the bottom of the screen. Once you complete the required banking information, you will be immediately enrolled, and your next payroll payment will be provided to you via direct deposit eliminating the risk of not having
access to your paycheck on the pay date due to campus closings or other delays that can occur with traditional mail distribution.
